Frequently asked questions

To become a teacher with us you need to have:

C2 or above level of English. A TEFL/TESOL or similar certificate to teach English as a foreign language
At least 2-3 years of valuable teaching experience (not necessarily online classes).

Ubi English classes are typically taught on Zoom – an online conferencing platform. Therefore you will need a high speed internet connection, camera and a high quality headset.

All teachers work with Lingoda on a freelance basis – you must be legally able to do so.

You need to feel comfortable speaking English.

No, our teachers work with us on a freelancer basis, meaning your own timing is entirely up to you.
